The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for April 19, reported in futures trading that Chicago May soft red winter wheat was $10.99; May corn, $8.04; and May soybeans, $17.16 1/2.

The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $11.74 to $12.19, down 21 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $8.94 to $9.19, down 9 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, unavailable; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $18.28 1/2 to $18.44 1/2, up 1 3/4 cents.
