Mandako

Mandako’s Cover Crop Crimper is made to handle a variety of conditions including chopping corn stalks, breaking down canola stubble or gently incorporating cover crops. Mandako, based in Plum Coulee, Manitoba, Canada, offers a land roller design with smooth drum rollers and stubble crunchers, and carries that into their Cover Crop Crimpers too. In addition, the same frame can be used for all three applications. Cover Crop Rollers are used to knock down various types of cover crops and create a weed suppressing matte. This practice can help minimize soil erosion and increase water retention. Mandako’s chevron style pattern allows the machine to run smoother across the ground and kicks up less dirt in operation. The crimpers come in multiple sizes. The mini comes in 8-, 10-, 12- and 15-foot widths. The inline comes in 10-, 13-, 15- and 20-foot sizes and the sections comes in 30-, 34- and 40-foot widths. Quality features, such as steel-reinforced corners and LED lights are are found on all sizes while the 3-Plex also includes hydraulic dual-wheel steering, hydraulic floating hitch and ductile cast knuckles with grease pockets.
