High Plains Journal, a multi-media publishing company, is the trusted source of information for agri-business, connecting those who feed the world. For 70+ years, HPJ has served farmers, ranchers and our advertising partners in the ever-changing agriculture industry, we are looking for an Inside Sales professional to join the team that will position HPJ for another 70 years of distinction.

  • managing multiple priorities & deadlines

  • maintaining a positive “rejection-proof” outlook
  • finding and closing new business (often one call close)
  • listening, asking great questions & qualifying opportunities

Requirements

  • Candidate must have 5 years of work experience with at least 3 years of successful demonstratable sales experience
  • Candidate must be comfortable working in an office environment, spending several hours a day on the phone & working in CRM software
  • Computer Literacy & Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar program
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent

Desired Experience

Outbound Phone Sales, Inbound Phone Sales, Establishing Daily/Weekly Sales Activity Plans, Advertising Sales or Media Sales, CRM Funnel Management

Salary Range: Base + Commission (25k-35k Base) + Expected commissions (10k-15k) depending on qualifications & experience
