The combined sales volume at Wyoming, western Nebraska and southwestern South Dakota feedlots Sept. 19 totaled 6,400 head, compared to 3,000 head last week and 6,200 head one year ago, according to the USDA Market News Service, Torrington, WY.

Trade was quiet. There were few bids at $64 per cwt. Feedlots were asking $66 to $67 per cwt.

The late reported market was Friday, Sept. 15, at $65 per cwt. live and $102 to $103 per cwt. dressed.

Feedlots reported light inquiry and buyer demand. Seller interest was light.

Week-to-date total included 1,000 head of previously contracted or formulated cattle, and cattle sold earlier in the week, but data not collected day of sale.
