The University of Minnesota West Central Research and Outreach Center has received additional funding to continue its research on woolen mulch. In a previous issue of the ASI Weekly, it was reported that the university conducted two years of research showing the effective use of wool mat mulch in certain types of fruit orchards. The University was recently awarded additional funding to research the use of wool mulch in growing medicinal herbs and tomatoes.

The university's West Central Research and Outreach Center is located in Morris, MN.
