Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, OK, reported receipts of 3,924 head of cattle May 26, compared to 3,930 head last week, according to the USDA Market News Service, Oklahoma City, OK.

Feeder steers were steady to $1 higher. Feeder heifers were steady to $1 lower. Steer calves were steady to $2 higher. Heifer calves were steady to $3 lower. Demand was good for all classes. Fill was average, few full. Quality was the full range--plain, average to attractive. Heifers comprised 62% of the feeder and calf supply. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. Total of 293 cows and bulls sold, with 40% going to packers.
