The Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 8,367 head Feb. 27, compared to 8,480 head last week, according to the USDA Market News Service, Oklahoma City, Okla.

Compared to last week, feeder steers sold $1 to $3 higher. Feeder heifers were $1 to $2 higher. Steer calves and stocker steers were $1 to $4 higher. Heifer calves were steady to $3 higher. Demand was good for all classes. Fill was average to full. Quality was attractive to average end plain. The supply included 54% steers, 45% heifers with 87% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bulls were $3 to $4 lower. A total of 977 cows and bulls sold with 55% to packers.
