The Nebraska wheat Development, Utilization and Marketing Board will meet Monday, March 27, in North Platte.

If necessary, the meeting will continue Tuesday, March 28. The meeting will be held at the Hampton Inn and will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Agenda items will include updates on the progress of ongoing projects, reports on recent meetings and initial review of funding proposals for next fiscal year. The public is invited to attend all or any portion of this open meeting. A copy of the agenda is available by calling the Nebraska wheat Board, 402-471-2358 or 800-651-6736.

The Nebraska wheat Board administers the one and one-quarter cents per bushel checkoff levied on wheat marketed in Nebraska. The board invests the funds in programs of international and domestic market development and improvement, policy development, research, promotion and education.
