Bobcat Company announced its new turbocharged Bobcat 773 G-Series skid-steer loader, ideal for high-altitude jobs or other applications requiring extra power. Like other Bobcat G-Series models, the 773 Turbo features a new cab and instrumentation design to improve operator comfort and increase job-site productivity.
The Bobcat 773 G-Series Turbo loader features a more powerful 56-hp Kubota V2003T engine and an increase in rated operating capacity from 1,750 pounds to 1,850 pounds compared to the standard 773 model. When equipped with an optional counterweight kit, the 773 Turbo has a rated operating capacity of 1,950 pounds.
Optimized visibility and comfort in addition to increased power. The 773 Turbo is the latest G-Series model from Bobcat, designed for operator comfort, unprecedented system diagnostics and monitoring, and ease of use. The Bobcat 773 Turbo low-profile, vertical-path lift arms--along with the new G-Series cab design--increase visibility to the sides, rear corners and front of the loader, easing use.
Like all Bobcat G-Series loaders, the cab has a larger front opening for easier entry and exit as well as more head clearance inside. For added comfort, an optional, full-suspension seat adjusts to the operator's weight and size, and the seatbelt is mounted to the seat rather than to the seat pan, so it moves with the operator. The new rear-pivot seat bar offers more room for larger operators as well as improved arm rests for comfortable all-day operation.
Instrument panels and gauges ease loader operation. The standard G-Series left-hand instrument panel includes sweep-type gauges for engine coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital engine hour meter doubles as a glow-plug countdown timer and mini-information center for system diagnostics.
A dual-mode auxiliary hydraulics button allows users to select between maximum-flow (instant on-off) and variable-flow auxiliary hydraulics for more efficient operation of hydraulic attachments. An auxiliary pressure release button simultaneously shuts down the loader and relieves auxiliary hydraulic pressure to facilitate attachment hookup.
Power Bob-Tach system saves attachment connection time. A new hydraulic Power Bob-Tach system is now available for Bobcat 773, 773 Turbo, 863, 864 and 873 loader models. The Power Bob-Tach option makes changing attachments quick and easy, saving operators time by allowing them to remain in the cab while changing attachments. To use the Power Bob-Tach, operators simply activate a switch inside the cab, change the attachment and go back to work.
The standardright-hand instrument panel features a key-start switch and warning lights to monitor up to 14 different loader functions. An optional shutdown system monitors engine oil pressure and coolant temperature, hydrostatic charge pressure, hydraulic oil temperature and engine RPM. If any of the readings indicate measurements beyond a specified range, the loader will automatically shut down to protect it from catastrophic failure.
The optional Deluxe Instrument Panel (right-hand side) includes a variety of patent-pending features, including a keyless start security system, dozens of monitoring and diagnostic capabilities, and system shutdown protection.
Bobcat manufactures a full line of skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, compact hydraulic excavators and dozens of job-matched attachments. Bobcat Company is a unit of Ingersoll-Rand Company.
