The Tulsa Stockyards, Tulsa, OK, reported receipts of 2,000 head of cattle Nov. 27, compared to 3,528 head the previous week, according to the USDA Market News Service, Oklahoma City, OK.

Compared to last week, trade was active. Steers were $2 to $3 higher. Heifers were steady to $2 higher. Demand was good on all classes. Quality was overall better than the previous week. The quality ranged from plain to fancy, with the bulk fairly attractive. Fill was mostly average. Heifers comprised 54% of calf and feeder supply. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. Packer demand was good. Cows and bulls accounted for nearly 10% of the supply.
