Compared to two weeks ago, steers and heifers were mostly steady. Trade was fairly active. Demand was good, on the better classes. Quality ranged from plain to attractive, bulk fairly plain. Condition was average to moderately fleshy. Heifers comprised 45% of calf and feeder supply. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. Packer demand was good. Cows and bulls were near 12% of the supply.
