The second annual East Central Kansas Spring Jackpot Hog and Lamb Show is set for Saturday, June 3, at the Anderson County Fairgrounds in Garnet.

Entry is open to any youth enrolled in 4-H or FFA.

Awards for champions and reserve champions will be as follows: grand champion prospect market hog and lamb, $150, and reserve champion prospect market hog and lamb, $75. Plaques also will be awarded to grand and reserve grand, breed and showmanship champions.

Swing show weight cards and entry fees will be due by 9 a.m. Judging will begin with showmanship, at 10 a.m. followed by the Prospects Market Hog Show. Sheep show weight cards and entry feeds will be due by 1 p.m. Judging will begin with showmanship, at 2 p.m., followed with the Prospects Market Lamb Show. This year's show will be judged by Dwayne Messner, Caney.

Entries will be $25 per head, the day of the show. A portion of the class money will be prorated back as prize money.
