Compared with last week, there were not enough 300- to 600-pound steers or heifers sold for an adequate market test as of 3 p.m. Feeder steers 600 to 1,000 pounds were steady to $2 higher, on early sales. Feeder heifers 600 to 900 lbs., steady to $1 higher.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 90.00 to 94.00; 22 head, 683 lbs., 90.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 84.00 to 88.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 82.00 to 86.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 80.00 to 84.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 75.00 to 80.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 73.25 to 78.10; 950 to 1000 lbs., 74.50 to 74.85.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 84.00 to 88.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 85.00 to 89.25; 700 to 750 lbs., 77.00 to 82.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 77.35 to 81.25; 800 to 850 lbs., 75.85 to 78.50; 850 to 900 lbs., 76.00 to 76.25.
