Compared to last week, feeder steers 300 to 700 pounds were steady to $3 lower, in a light supply; 700 to 1,000 pounds, mostly steady, with instances $1 higher. Feeder heifers 300 to 650 pounds were steady to $2 lower, in a light supply; 650 to 950 pounds, mostly steady, with instances $1 higher. Slaughter cows were $3 higher. Slaughter bulls were steady. Trade was active. Demand was good. Receipts included 84% 600 pounds and over, 13% 600 pounds and under and 3% cows and bulls. Feeder supply included 52% steers and 48% heifers.
