Pratt Livestock, Inc., Pratt, KS, reported receipts of 1,312 head June 15, compared to 3,710 head last week and 2,669 head last year, according to the Federal-State USDA Market News Service, Dodge City, KS.

Compared to last week, feeder steers 300 to 1,000 pounds were $1 to $3 higher, in a limited supply. Feeder heifers 300 to 900 pounds were steady to $3 higher, in a limited supply. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. Trade was active. Demand was good. Receipts included 96% 600 pounds and over, 1% 600 pounds and under and 3% cows and bulls. The supply consisted of 58% steers and 42% heifers.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 6 head, 615 lbs., 90.75; 650 to 700 lbs., 87.25 to 92.25 (90.07); 700 to 750 lbs., 88.00 to 90.60 (90.03); 750 to 800 lbs., 85.50 to 90.50 (88.09); 800 to 850 lbs., 83.50 to 88.35 (85.79); 850 to 900 lbs., 82.75 to 85.10 (83.81); 900 to 950 lbs., 80.50 to 85.50 (83.88); 15 head, 1003 lbs., 75.75. Medium and large frame 1 and 2, 650 to 700 lbs., 79.00 to 85.50 (82.76); 17 head, 752 lbs., 81.50.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 83.50 to 84.00 (83.73); 34 head, 655 lbs., 85.75; 700 to 750 lbs., 80.85 to 85.00 (82.96); 750 to 800 lbs., 81.00 to 86.00 (84.88); 800 to 850 lbs., 82.00 to 83.50 (82.99); 850 to 900 lbs., 79.25 to 80.25 (79.78). Medium and large frame 1 and 2, 6 head, 576 lbs., 77.50. Heiferettes, 50.00 to 74.00 (59.56).

Slaughter cows: Boners and Breakers, 75 to 85% lean, 40.00 to 45.00 (42.30).

Slaughter bulls: Yield grade 1 and 2, 49.50 to 55.50 (52.85); high dressing, 1 head, 56.75.
