Publicists for rock band Poison, scheduled to perform Friday, Aug. 24, at the Bob Devaney Center during the Nebraska State Fair, announced the cancellation of the concert.

The remaining 22 summer concerts on Poison's "Glam Slam Metal Jam" tour were canceled, due to an extensive spinal injury and surgery for bassist, Bobby Dall.

Effective immediately, the Nebraska State Fair is offering a full refund or exchange for those fans holding tickets. All ticket refunds will occur by the same method as they were purchased (credit back on a credit card or a cash refund by check which will be sent by mail). The ticket office is offering a direct trade of tickets to any other comparably priced show.

State Fair Park, located in Lincoln, is the home of the Nebraska State Fair. It is a non-profit organization, receiving state tax support only for 4-H and FFA programs. Limited revenue sources include horse race wagering, state fair gate admissions and rental fees.
