Unity, determination, change--these were the focal points when National Farmers Organization President Eugene Paul took center stage at Convention 2000, in Minneapolis, MN.

In Paul's State of the Organization address, convention delegates heard that the current agricultural crisis is not centered on raw commodities, but around the people who produce them. "We don't have a food crisis today," Paul said. "What we have is a people crisis. And the bottom line is price."
