No sales were reported in Texas Panhandle and western Oklahoma feedlots July 3, compared with none last week or last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Amarillo, TX.

Trade was at a standstill. Slaughter steers heifers were not tested. Feedlots reported light inquiry.

For the week to date, 80,400 were confirmed, which included 52,000 head of formulated cattle to be shipped this week.

The last established market was Friday, June 30, at mostly $68 per cwt., few, $68.50. Monday's, July 3, bids and asking prices not well established.
