There were no confirmed sales in Wyoming, western Nebraska and southwestern South Dakota feedlot and range sales Aug. 2, comapred to 100 head last week, according to the USDA Market News Service, Torrington, WY.

Trade was inactive. Bids were $64 live and $103 dressed per cwt. Feedlots were asking $65 and $104 per cwt.

The last confirmed sales were late in the week of July 28, at $65 and $65.50 and $104 per cwt.

Feedlots reported light inquiry and buyer demand. Seller interest was light.

Weekly total includes 1,400 head of previously contracted or formulated cattle, and cattle sold earlier in the week, but data not collected day of sale.
