There were no confirmed sales in Wyoming, western Nebraska and southwestern South Dakota feedlot and range sales May 23, compared to 14,775 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Torrington, WY.

Trade was inactive Tuesday. Bids were $68 and $109. Feedlots were asking $70 to mostly $71. Last reported sales were Thursday at $70 to $71 and $113.00 to $114.00. Feedlots reported light inquiry and buyer demand. Seller interest was light. Weekly total includes 2,600 head from contracted or formula sales, and cattle sold earlier in the week, but data not collected day of sale.
