New Mexico Department of Agriculture (NMDA) marketing specialists and New Mexico livestock producers will travel to Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico, to attend the Confederation Nacional Ganadera (CNG) conference, hosted by the state of Chihuahua, June 10 to 15.

Delegates from each state in Mexico will attend this meeting to discuss and act on issues impacting the cattle, horse, dairy, sheep, goat, poultry and rabbit industries, as well as discuss animal health and trade issues.

NMDA marketing specialists will be escorting New Mexico livestock producers attending the CNG conference. New Mexico livestock producers will have the opportunity to establish and maintain trade contacts, evaluate Mexico's livestock industry and facilitate business transactions with Mexico's livestock producers.

NMDA marketing specialists have been attending the CNG conference for the last seven years and have established a good working relationship with CNG delegates interested in purchasing United States livestock genetics and equipment from New Mexico.
