There were three days suitable for field work, says the New Mexico Agricultural Statistics Service Nov. 13.

Total sorghum condition was reported in mostly very poor to fair condition, with 59% of the crop harvested.

The total wheat condition continued to improve, listed in mostly poor to good condition.

Peanuts were in mostly fair to good condition, with harvested acres slowly increasing.

The red chile crop remained stable in mostly fair to good condition, with harvest over halfway complete.

Over the week ranchers continued to ship calves and lambs. Cattle and sheep conditions were listed in mostly poor to good condition.

Pasture and range feed conditions improved slightly, at 28% very poor, 36% poor, 30% fair and 6% good.
