The Nebraska Ranch Practicum is taking applications for participants in the upcoming workshops, from June, 2001, through January, 2002.

The Nebraska Ranch Practicum is a hands-on learning experience designed to fully integrate plant, animal and economic components of ranching. The practicum provides education with livestock and natural resource management during the summer, fall and winter. By attending the practicum, participants can improve their management and decision-making skills, enhance stewardship of natural resources, improve their critical evaluation skills and enhance their ranch sustainability.

The practicum enrollment is limited to 30 participants. Applications must be received by May 1, however, the practicum fills quickly so early enrollment is recommended. For more information, contact the University of Nebraska Panhandle Research and Extension Center, 308-6323-1230.
