The Nebraska Grain Sorghum Board will meet Tuesday, June 13.

The meeting will convene at 9 a.m., at the State Office Building, in the Nebraska Department of Agriculture's Platte Room, located on the fourth floor.

In addition to regular board business, reports on program activities in the areas of research, market development, producer education and federal legislation will be presented. The board also will finalize the fiscal year 2000-01 budget at this meeting. The board administers the one cent per hundredweight checkoff, which is assessed on all grain sorghum sold in the state. The board's annual budget is invested in the areas of research, market development, producer education and federal legislation.
