No sales were confirmed in Nebraska feedlots Oct. 3, compared with 100 head last week, and 1,000 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Kearney, NE.

Trade continued at a standstill on Oct. 3. No sales were reported for slaughter steers or heifers. Buyer inquiry was moderate. Seller interest was light, many taking a wait and see attitude. Bids and offering prices not fully established.

This weeks trade volume includes 13,400 head previously contracted and formulated cattle for this week's delivery.

Live basis sales: Equivalent 3% shrink delivered and FOB, some FOB 4% shrink. Dressed basis delivered.

Slaughter steers: No confirmed sales.

Slaughter heifers: No confirmed sales.
