No sales were confirmed in Nebraska feedlots Dec. 5, compared with 1,000 head last week and 3,000 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Kearney, NE.

Trade continued at a standstill. No sales of slaughter steers or heifers were reported.

Bids were not established. A few asking prices were from $74 to $75 per cwt.

The last established market was Thursday, Nov. 30, at $72 to $73 per cwt. live and $114 to $115 per cwt. on a dressed basis.

The week to date total include 11,800 head of formulated or previously contracted cattle for this week's delivery.
