A new employee has recently joined the Kansas Wheat Commission (KWC) staff. Justin Gilpin recently began as Project Coordinator.

The Project Coordinator's responsibilities include being the primary contact for international trade teams, International Grain Program short-courses and other groups that are hosted by the KWC. Gilpin will also represent the KWC at industry events to communicate the on going projects and goals with producers and the general public.

Gilpin is a Kansas State University College of Agriculture graduate, with a bachelor's degree in Milling Science and Management. While in college, he worked part-time for Agco Inc. in Russell, KS. He also interned for ConAgra and General Mills. Since graduation, Gilpin has worked for grain handling equipment manufacturers as both a Regional Manager and Designer.

"Justin's background in milling science and his ability to communicate with producers will be an excellent asset to the Kansas Wheat Commission," commented Dusti Fritz, KWC Assistant Administrator. Gilpin is married to Angie, also a Kansas State graduate.
