Kansas Junior Limousin Breeders Association elected new officers at its annual meeting.

The new officers include: president, Megan Rolf, Leroy; vice president, Abby Crow, Leawood; secretary, Heather Hopper, Leonardville; treasurer, Brian Bayless, Wakarusa; reporter, Avery Land, Burlingame; historians, Ashley Martin, Burden and Amber Hopper, Leonardville; and directors, David Persons, Rossville; Jennifer Olson, Russel; and Tonya Harris, Erie. Elected ambassador was Kenny Hopper, Leonardville.

Nancy and Randy Corns told the members that they would be stepping down this year. The group thanked them for all of their help.

This year's theme for the National Junior Limousin Show and Congress is "Friends in the Heartland." It will be held July 9 to 15, in Kansas City, MO, at the American Royal facility.

The Kansas Junior and Open Show is tentatively scheduled, in Manhattan, May 27 and 28, and the quiz bowl tryouts will be held at this time.
