No sales were confirmed in Kansas feedlots Aug. 29, compared with none last week and last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Dodge City, KS.

Trade was quiet. Inquiry and demand were light.

Sales confirmed for the week to date on 90,900 head, which included 44,100 head of previously contracted or formulated cattle.

The last established market was Friday, Aug. 25, at $65.50 to $66.50 per cwt., mostly $66.

Bids and asking prices were not established Tuesday, Aug. 29.
