No sales were confirmed in Kansas feedlots Oct. 16, compared with none last week or last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Dodge City, KS.

Trade was quiet. Inquiry was moderate. Demand was light. Sales were confirmed for the week to date on 9,300 head of mostly contracted or formulated cattle. Asking prices and bids were not well established.

The last sales were Thursday, Oct. 12, at $68 per cwt., with 275 head at $68.50.
