Western Kansas Manufacturers Association, sponsor of the 3i Show, is pleased to announce the awarding of scholarships to the following freshman students for the 2004-2005 school year. Congratulations to these recipients:

--Dodge City Community College $500 scholarship to Jennifer Dobratz. Jennifer attended both Dodge City High School and Great Bend High School and is currently studying accounting.

--Garden City Community College $500 scholarship to Alex Gaede, a Hoxie High School graduate, majoring in Business Administration.

--Northwest Kansas Technical College $500 scholarship awarded to two recipients: Jacob Cooper and Tyson Vap. Jacob is a graduate of Scott City Community High School, and Jacob is a graduate of Atwood High School. Both students are enrolled in Engineering Technology.

--Southwest Kansas Technical School $500 scholarship to Hugo Fernandez, Jr. Hugo is a graduate of Dodge City High School and is enrolled in the Auto Body Collision Program.

--Colby Community College $500.00 scholarship to Bradley Stewart, a Hoxie High School graduate working towards an Associate of Science degree in Engineering.

--Seward County Community College $500 scholarship to Noe Carmona. Noe is from Hugoton and is majoring in pre-engineering.

--North Central Kansas Technical College $500 scholarship to Christopher Younger, a Hays High School graduate enrolled in Welding Technology.

--Fort Hays State University $700 scholarship to Jeremy Appel, a Jetmore High School graduate, majoring in Physics.

--University of Kansas $700 scholarship to Kyle Headrick. Kyle is a Dodge City High School graduate majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Freshman students residing in Western Kansas, enrolling in Industrial Engineering, Pre-Engineering or Business Administration may inquire at the University, Community College, or Technical College they plan to attend as to the availability of a scholarship from Western Kansas Manufacturers Association. Scholarships for the current school year are still available at Barton County Community College and Kansas State University. Scholarships are funded by the 3iSHOW belt buckle sales.
