Douglas Hofbauer, Omaha, NE, has been selected as the new president and chief executive officer of Farm Credit Services of Northeast Kansas, FLCA-PCA and Farm Credit Services of Southeast Kansas, FLCA-PCA.
The four associations are operating under a Joint Management Agreement, in anticipation of a potential consolidation.
Hofbauer has worked in the Farm Credit System since 1980. Most recently, he was the senior vice president of business development for Farm Credit Services of America, leading seven vice president-business development teams and 120 team members working with approximately $1.4 billion in credit volume. Hofbauer is a graduate of Iowa State University, with a degree in agricultural education and a minor in agricultural economics.
Farm Credit Services of Northeast Kansas and Southeast Kansas serve 41 counties, in eastern Kansas, with a combined credit volume of approximately $513 million. The associations are a part of the national Farm Credit System, which has been providing lending and financially related services to farmers, ranchers, rural homeowners and agribusinesses from more than 80 years.
