The Guymon Livestock Auction, Inc., Guymon, OK, reported receipts of 1,329 head of cattle Nov. 16, compared with 1,160 head last week, according to the USDA Market News Service, Oklahoma City, OK.

There was no test on feeder cattle. Steer calves were steady to $2 higher. Heifer calves were steady; 450 pounds, $2 lower. Demand was very good for steers, good for heifers. Fill was average. Quality was average to attractive. Supply included 42% steers and 56% heifers. The supply included 15% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bulls were $1 to $2 higher. A total of 188 cows and bulls sold, with 58% going to packers.

Lean, 85 to 90%, 825 to 1400 lbs., 37.50 to 39.50; high dressing, 40.00 to 41.50; low dressing, 32.75 to 36.75. Light, 85 to 92% lean, 800 to 850 lbs., 29.00 to 29.25.

Slaughter bulls: Yield grade 1 to 2, 1325 to 1975 lbs., 46.25 to 49.50; high dressing, 51.00 to 52.75; low dressing, 43.50 to 45.75.

Replacement cows: Pre-tested for Bangs, pregnancy and age, medium and large frame 1, 3 to 5 years old, 1125 to 1250 lbs., 4 to 6 months bred, average quality, 575.00 to 600.00; 6 to 9 years old, 1150 to 1325 lbs., 4 to 8 months bred, average quality, 480.00 to 525.00; 5 to 7 years old, 850 to 1200 lbs., 4 to 6 months bred, low quality, 425.00 to 460.00.
