The Colorado Department of Agriculture is accepting grant applications from Colorado food companies interested in marketing their products at out-of-state trade shows.

Grants up to $1,000 are available to pay for growers and processors' booth costs the first time they attend.

"I encourage Colorado food companies to apply for promotion funds under the Domestic Trade Show Assistance program to increase their sales and to reach out to new domestic markets," said Commissioner of Agriculture Don Ament.

The program, funded by the Colorado Economic Development Commission and administered by the Colorado Department of Agriculture, allows a maximum of $1,000 annually per qualified company.

For an application and program guidelines, please contact the Colorado Department of Agriculture, at 303-239-4114.
