Chickasha FFA Chapter members taped segments to be aired during portions of 'Good Morning Texoma,' a weekend news show on KXXX, Channel 7, in Lawton.

The first segment featured some of Chickasha's recent state proficiency winners. Brian Morris, state winner in dairy entrepreneurship, and Brendon Lowe, state winner in diversified livestock entrepreneurship were interviewed about their various programs. Acting as the host for this edition of 'FFA in Action,' was Lance Shaw.

The second taping concerned Lowe, one of the national top 10 winners in the U. S. Department of Agriculture Risk Management Essay Contest. Lowe told about the risk management areas he covered in his essay.

The 2002 Shorthorn Junior National Show, in Springfield, IL, was the third and final topic covered. Participants for this segment were Kaity and Kristen Hess, Jerrod Arthur, and Brendon and Colin Lowe. Shaw again acted as the 'FFA In Action' host.
