The Faith Livestock Commission Co., Faith, S.D., reported receipts of 1,842 head Feb. 20, compared to 3,448 head last week and 1,873 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers displaying more flesh, sold $4 to $5 lower, except the heifers 500 pounds and under sold steady to $5 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls were scarce. Feeder cows sold steady. Feeder receipts included 62% steers and 38% heifers, with 78% over 600 pounds. The offering included 92% feeders, 3% replacement females, 2% bred cows and the balance was slaughter cows, feeder bulls and breeding bulls.
