Two performances of "An Evening of Dancing Horses," sponsored by Mike Shaw Chevrolet, Buick, Saab and 9NEWS, are scheduled in the Events Center, at 7:30 p.m., Jan. 17 and 18.

This is the sixth year of the popular National Western "dancing horses" attraction featuring world class horses, equestrians and musicians. Seats are only $18 and include admission to the show grounds.

The musical, freestyle riding performances are choreographed for group and individual maneuvers. All are ridden to a variety of music, ranging from classical to jazz and big band, pop to Broadway show tunes, movie themes to rock and selected performances to Western music by Michael Martin Murphey and The Rio Grande Band. In addition, this year's performances will include the accompaniment of the Pueblo Symphony Orchestra, directed by Dr. Jacob Chi.

This mix of classical dressage, a Western cowboy singer and multi-talented musicians provide a special evening of family entertainment unseen anywhere.
