You are invited to attend a field day at Elkhart, KS on July 22.

At 10:30 am, the day will kick off with a discussion of grazing management and revegetation of degraded native rangeland at Elkhart City Hall. The discussion will be led by personnel from the U.S. Forest Service.

After lunch at noon, a tour of the Cimarron National Grassland will be conducted by U.S. Forest Service personnel. This will be an opportunity to observe management techniques utilized by Forest Service range management specialists.

At 3:00 pm, a tour of center pivot-irrigated cool season (PM6) pasture, owned & managed by Johnny Boaldin, will take place. This field was planted in fall of 2002.
