Receipts at Dodge City Winter Livestock, Inc., totaled 3,575 head, of cattle Jan. 26, compared with 5,922 head, last week and 4,317 head, last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Dodge City, KS.

Compared with last week, feeder steers 300 to 550 pounds were steady; 550 to 750 pounds, $1 to $3 lower; 750 to 900 pounds, steady. Feeder heifers 300 to 500 pounds were steady; 500 to 600 pounds, $1 to $2 lower; 600 to 700 pounds, steady; 700 to 800 pounds, $2 to $3 lower. Slaughter cows and bulls were firm to $1 higher. Trade was active. Demand was good. Receipts included 56% 600 pounds and over, 40% 600 pounds and under and 4% cows and bulls, with 150 head, early. The feeder supply included 48% steers and 52% heifers.
