The Colorado weekly feeder cattle auction summary totaled 7,575 head for the week ending Feb. 25, according to the USDA Market News Service, Greeley, CO.

Compared to last week, feeder steer and heifers under 650 pounds were steady, instances of $1 to $2 higher; over 650 pounds, weak to $2 lower. Receipts at area auction markets this week included nearly 50% steers and 50% heifers. Total supply included 50% over 600 pounds.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 300 to 400 lbs., 112.50 to 123.00; 400 to 500 lbs., 106.00 to 120.00, mostly 108.50 to 115.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 96.50 to 112.00, bulk, 99.00 to 108.50; 600 to 700 lbs., 84.50 to 96.50, mostly 88.50 to 94.50; 700 to 800 lbs., 77.50 to 88.50, mostly 81.00 to 85.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 75.50 to 81.00.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 300 to 400 lbs., 102.00 to 114.00; 400 to 500 lbs., 95.50 to 106.50, mostly 97.50 to 105.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 86.50 to 99.75, bulk, 88.50 to 96.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 80.00 to 87.50; 700 to 800 lbs., 75.00 to 80.00.
