The Colorado feeder cattle auction summary for the week ending June 16 totaled 1,359 head, compared to 1,722 head last week and 1,456 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Greeley, CO.

Light seasonal receipts of feeder cattle and calves were not sufficient for a market test at area markets. Receipts included nearly 60% steers and 40% heifers. The total supply included 60% over 600 pounds.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, few, 450 to 500 lbs., 94.50 to 104.00; 500 to 550 lbs., 97.50 to 106.00; 550 to 600 lbs., 85.75 to 92.50; 600 to 650 lbs., 85.50 to 94.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 81.50 to 85.10; lot, 935 lbs., 76.10.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, lot, 485 lbs., 88.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 83.00 to 90.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 76.50 to 86.00, mostly 79.00 to 83.00; 700 to 775 lbs., 72.00 to 77.00.
