Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $2 higher. Slaughter cows were steady to $1 lower. Slaughter bulls were steady. Bulk of the supply was medium and large frame 1 to 2 300- to 700-pound feeder steers and heifers. Trade and demand were moderate.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 350 to 400 lbs., 119.00 to 121.00; 400 to 450 lbs., 110.00 to 119.00; 500 to 550 lbs., 99.00 to 103.00; 600 to 650 lbs., 90.50 to 93.50. Steers and bulls, medium and large frame 1 to 2, package, 319 lbs., 116.00; 450 to 500 lbs., 102.00 to 103.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 94.00 to 97.50; package, 612 lbs., 90.25; package, 753 lbs., 84.00; package, 808 lbs., 82.50. Slaughter bulls: Yield grade 1 to 2, 1600 to 2050 lbs., 45.00 to 50.00.

Bred cows: Medium and large frame 1 to 2, young to middle aged, 1100 to 1300 lbs., 4 to 8 months bred, 550.00 to 685.00 per head; middle aged to aged, 1000 to 1200 lbs., 2 to 8 months bred, 470.00 to 515.00 per head.

Cow-calf pairs: Medium and large frame 1 to 2, young to middle aged, 1100 to 1250 lbs., with 150- to 250-lb. calf, 710.00 to 715.00 per pair; middle aged, 1000 to 1100 lbs., with 200- to 250-lb. calf, 500.00 to 570.00 per pair.
