ArrowQuip, of Woodlands, Manitoba, Canada, has released its Q-Catch 86 series cattle chute. The Q-Catch 86 series chute is precision engineered, resulting in an easier and more efficient cattle handling process and the series is available in two models—Deluxe Vet and Standard. The Deluxe Vet weighs 2,000 pounds and the Standard weighs 1,512 pounds. The Deluxe Vet offers a vet cage that squeezes with the chute, allows the operator to narrow the chute before cattle enter and prevents the cattle from turning back. The Standard model is designed for smaller operations or where ranches are limited in space. More than 2,000 hours of engineering went into each of the models. The chute includes 12.75-inch neck access, durable rubber flooring, anti-rattle rubber absorber hinges, low profile striker plates, sound dampening moving parts and a patent pending second generation head holder, which has been recognized worldwide. It has a one-handed push-pull system, which eliminates the need for a secondary locking mechanism. Another available accessory is a sternum bar that is installed and removed with just two bolts making it an affordable solution to prevent the animal from going down in the chute. A new cattle chute trailer makes it easy to transport. For more information, see a dealer or visit www.arrowquip.com.
