must have a use for farmers, ranchers or rural residents. The HPJ reserves
the right to edit all submissions, as needed, to ensure they conform to

MATERIAL HANDLING--John Deere introduces a new line of 600D Draper Platforms for small grain harvesting. The 600D drapers provide more productivity with a larger reel, wider and faster belts, and a larger feed drum. They are designed to cut lower and handle more material than the 900 Series models they replace. The 600D Draper Platforms are available in three sizes, 25-, 30-, and 35-foot models. The drapers are centered on the combine and each model has a true width-of-cut as per the sizes listed above. This promotes even crop feeding throughout the full width of the platform, even in tough, high-yielding crop conditions. The 600D Draper Platforms are also designed with height sensing capabilities. MULCHER--Caterpillar introduces the HM315 Mulcher. The 57-inch (1.5-meter) cutter head and 72-inch (1.8-meter) overall width enable the mulcher to make full use of the powerful hydraulic system. The HM315 Mulcher features a dynamically balanced high-speed rotor with 34 tungsten carbide teeth for efficiently cutting vegetation. Three sets of counter-rotating knives mulch materials completely. The mulcher has the ability to process brush as big as 8 inches (200 mm) in diameter. Chisel teeth, which can aggressively process vines and soft woods, are also available as a top level arrangement. BULK FEED BIN--Greens Welding, Appleton City, Mo., introduces its one ton bulk feed bin. This bin has a ground opening lid, sight glass in the front, lights, 2-inch ball coupler, safety chains, fenders, and new wheels and tires on the portable models. This bin stands 7 feet tall.
