TREE TRIMMING--C&C Adventures, Inc., Stratford, Okla., introduces the Limbhog, a new tree trimming attachment that mounts to a front-end loader of a tractor, skid loader or backhoe. The commercial grade chainsaw slides easily into a receiver on the front-end loader and works off the tractor's auxiliary hydraulics. The unit comes with an 8-foot mast and reduces the risk of injury by eliminating the need for ladders, ropes and standing in the bucket of a tractor to reach limbs. Cut limbs fall in front of the loader, while users sit safely in a tractor seat. The Limbhog runs at 5,000 RPM and cuts up to 5-inch diameter limbs in one second. For more information, call 580-272-3194.

FILLING BUNK FEEDERS--Stull Feeders, Harrison, Ark., offers a line of ATV/UTA-mounted feeders, which allow producers to safely and efficiently feed cattle. The standard Stull Feeder has a hopper with a 200-pound capacity for feed, or 400 pounds with an optional extension. It is gravity fed and mounts to any ATV/UTV. It features a retractable top for easy loading, and a long handle permits the driver to open the feed chute door and regulate flow into the bunk from the safety of the ATV/UTV seat. The tapering chute folds up for simple storage when not in use. The laser-crafted Stull feeders are available in standard galvanized finish, or RealTree camouflage pattern. For more information, call 417-581-6008, or visit www.stullfeeders.com.

PLANTERS--Case IH, Racine, Wis., is expanding its lineup of Early Riser 1250 planters. New offerings include 12- and 16-row, front fold Early Riser planters available in a wide variety of configurations. Just like the 24-row 1250, the new 12- and 16-row units have an exceptionally narrow transport width of only 11 feet, 11 inches. These new planters also offer great flexibility, with a wing flex of 21 degrees up and 21 degrees down, for excellent performance on hilly grounds and heavily terraced areas. In addition, they come equipped with Early Riser row units, which provide superior seed-to-soil contact, for earlier, more even emergence. They also offer the Case IH Advanced Seed Metering system with a larger diameter seed disk, for unmatched accuracy over a wider range of seed sizes, regardless of seed type For more information, call 877-4CASEIH or visit www.caseih.com.

Dealer brings auto-steer system to Kansas farmers

Martin Farm Power, Chanute, Kan., has joined the Leica Geosystem's network of value-added resellers, becoming the first premium reseller in Kansas to offer the new No Drift mojoRTK Auto-steer system.
