Asgrow & DEKALB Agricultural Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Graduating high school seniors of Kansas, who plan to attend a four-year program or a two-year program with the intention of transferring to a university or college majoring in agriculture. Must have been 4 year member of the Kansas FFA Association. Preference will be given to those applicants who have an affiliation or association with production agriculture. In addition, the applicants should have demonstrated outstanding leadership, community service, exhibits good character and moral traits, and have excelled scholastically during four years of high school. The selection committee will give special emphasis to FFA members who live in the western two-thirds of the state (living in the following counties and west to the state line – Marshall, Riley, Wabaunsee, Morris, Chase, Butler and Cowley) when making their selections.

AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable. The scholarship will be paid in two equal installments of $500 at the beginning of the fall semester and $500 at the beginning of the spring semester, which will depend on satisfactory scholastic performance.
