Husker Harvest Days Food Drive

Husker Harvest Days, along with Monsanto and the Howard G. Buffett Foundation (HGBF), have teamed up to help feed Nebraska’s hungry with the America’s Farmers Food Drive. You can help. As part of the initiative, Husker Harvest Days visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the show. Food can be dropped off at any of the entrance gates. 4-H and FFA members who donate food (at least three cans per member) will receive free entry to the show. Additionally, the top three FFA chapters and top three 4-H clubs that donate the highest amount of food, in pounds, will be awarded $250. Chapters and clubs must donate a minimum of 100 pounds of food to be eligible for the donation. For every pound of food donated, Monsanto will donate $1 to Heartland United Way, up to $10,000. HGBF will donate $1 per pound of food, up to $10,000, to Feeding America.
