K-State Youth Livestock Update

Kansas Junior Sheep Producer Day

As a reminder, please spread the word about Kansas Junior Sheep Producer Day on March 29th! We have many sponsors for this event and looking forward to a great turnout. Online registration is available, as well as forms located on the website. Early registration ($15/person) ends on March 7th. We will also take registration after the deadline and on-site for $20/person. All adults attending must register as well.

K-State Animal Sciences Leadership Academy

Please encourage youth to apply for this awesome livestock and leadership opportunity. More information and applications are available online and are due by midnight on March 15th via email to me (clowers@ksu.edu). The academy will be June 11-14 in Manhattan, KS.

Horse Judging Camps


The K-State Horse Judging Team is hosting two different camps: Advanced camp is June 3-4 and the Beginner camp is on June 5. Visit the program website for more information and registration forms.  

Livestock Judging Camps

The K-State Livestock Judging Team is hosting three different camps: June 9-11, 13-15, and 17-19. The camp is limited to the first 35 applicants for each camp session and is available on a "first come, first serve" basis. Visit the program website for more information and the registration form.
