Ford Offers Grants for Chapters

Ford Offers Grants for Chapters That Participate in Scholarship Program
For the past 17 years, Ford has awarded $1,000 college scholarships to FFA members across the United States on behalf of participating Ford dealers. For the past four years, Ford has also given a $3,000 grant to one FFA chapter in each of NAAE’s six regions. The grants are related to chapter participation in the Ford scholarship program, so to have a chance to receive the grant, your local Ford dealer must offer a scholarship and you need to have students apply for the scholarship. The grants are to be used to allow FFA chapters to buy needed materials, offset travel expenses, and supplement resources in whatever way will best support the chapter’s leadership development activities.
Ford is the largest corporate provider of scholarships through the National FFA program and looks forward to awarding the grants to FFA chapters. Ford is also the proud sponsor of NAAE’s Lifetime Achievement award. Both the grant program and the Lifetime Achievement award are special projects of the National FFA Foundation.
The deadline for students to apply for FFA scholarships is February 1. Follow this link for more information and to see if there is a participating Ford dealer in your area.
