The Kansas Association of the Future Farmers of America was formed with a purpose in mind – to serve the needs of boys enrolled in high school vocational agriculture programs. Keeping that purpose in mind, the organization has recognized many young agriculturalists—both male and female—for achievements in agriculture and agricultural –related areas. It has bestowed honors on past members and on others who have contributed to the grow and strength of the organization.
The history of the Kansas FFA Association is intended to supplement official FFA publications, previous history books and chapter records. Not to be mistake as an organization which has reached its potential, the Kansas FFA is a flexible organization which will respond to the invitation and innovation of future members.
Today, the Kansas FFA Association remains committed to the individual student, providing a path to achievement in premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Now, the organization is expanding the nation's view of "traditional" agriculture and finding new ways to infuse agriculture into the classroom.
